- Dry rock gardens: This style is built up of various sized rocks, sand, and gravel.
All of these styles have different characteristics, so depending on what you are looking for will determine your choice of garden style.

- A water feature – adding water to your garden is essential, this can either be in a waterfall form or a pond.
- The right plants are important too; why not go for some Bonsai trees, Japanese Acers and Pine Trees to complete the look.
- Decorative bridges can be dotted around the garden, dividing parts of the landscape up into individual sections.
